Outlook

In order to finally provide an ontology of materials especially composits we will continue to complete the knowledge that is presented here. Additionally, we have to have a closer look for the mixture rules that define the composition of several materials. These rules may also be defined in an independent ontology such that composites itself need not to be represented. Instead, the axiomatization for the various kinds of composition (cf. figure 4) and the specific knowledge about the single components (cf. figures 5, 6, and 7) may be sufficient to enable the sharing of knowledge about composites between agents.
