My diploma thesis was about specification
and implementation
of an interoperability concept to interconnect workflow management
systems in a heterogeneous compound.
It arose in cooperation with the Siemens
Telecooperation Center
(STZ) and the computer science
department at the
Universität des Saarlandes, Professor
Gerhard
Weikum.
In that work I connected the WfMS WorkParty from
Siemens Nixdorf International (SNI) and IBM FlowMark.
A prototype was shown at the CeBit'96 which connected
WorkParty and the groupware system LinkWorks
in 2002 I took part in a project for realising a knowledge management system in the field of nuclear safety .
and took part in the EU-project DECOR
From May 2003 - April 2006, I was project leader of the BMB+F-project EPOS (Evolving Personal to Organizational Knowledge Spaces)
I finished my Ph.D. (bzw. Dr. rer. nat.) in July 2007. you can find it here.
Since September 1st 2007, I'm leader of the DFKI Competence Center "Virtual
Office of the Future" and leader of Ricoh project.
