Student time

During my Student Assistant time at the STZ I was involved in the projects WiTek (Knowledge-based Telecooperation)  WoTel (Workflow and Telecooperation) and  POLIVEST (POLIKOM-Project Workflow with synchronous Telecooperation) .

My diploma thesis was about specification and implementation of an interoperability concept to interconnect workflow management systems in a heterogeneous compound.
It arose in cooperation with the Siemens Telecooperation Center (STZ) and the computer science department at the Universität des Saarlandes, Professor Gerhard Weikum.

In that work I connected the WfMS WorkParty from Siemens Nixdorf International (SNI) and IBM FlowMark.
A prototype was shown at the CeBit'96 which connected WorkParty and the groupware system LinkWorks
