Implicit Assumptions

The physical quantities we present here are typically measured under standard conditions, e.g. room temperature, atmospheric pressure, etc. More precisely, these quantities are a function of e.g. temperature. Consequently, for a ``correct'' axiomatization of materials the properties have to be represented together with the explicit specification of the conditions under which they hold. However, in the worst case this would require the representation of arbitrary even uncontinuous functions.
