The iGreen project intends to develop and realize a network of location-based services and knowledge, which shall integrate various public and private information sources. This network shall allow the realization of mobile decision assistant systems which facilitate the decentralized support and optimization of cooperative production processes, reaching improved energy efficiency, economic advantages, and environmental benefits.
The aim of the OrganiK project is to research and develop an innovative knowledge management system that enables the semantic fusion of enterprise social software applications. The system accumulates information that can be exchanged among one or several collaborating companies. This enables an effective management of organisational knowledge and can be adapted to functional requirements of smaller and knowledge-intensive companies.
NEPOMUK brings together researchers, industrial software developers, and representative industrial users, to develop a comprehensive solution for extending the personal desktop into a collaboration environment which supports both the personal information management and the sharing and exchange across social and organizational relations.
