I originally come from the town of Skien, Norway. In 1998 I moved to Aberdeen, Scotland, first doing my undergraduate degree in the Compting Science Department there, and from 2001 to 2005 doing a part-time PhD and working as a programmer for the E-commerce MSc degree.
In 2005 I moved to DFKI, where I work in the Knowledge Management Research group in Kaiserslautern, Germany. In the Summer of 2007 I was made technical director of the Nepomuk project. I was project-leader for the smaller Peek2 Project, work on the Organik Project, and now I work in iGreen.
In 2008 I finished my PhD thesis, and graduated in Summer 2009.I have be co-organizing the Scripting for the Semantic Web workshops in '07, '08 and '09..
