In ProFinder the IT department of an enterprise has been (partially) modelled in an Ontology in order to formalize and represent the dependencies of certain skills from subordinated skills (e.g. K1 requires K1.1 and K1.2) and to describe the need of special skills of a coworker on a certain position.
A goal was to generate a profile difference from the instance relations. Furthermore it should be possible to extract the topics, in which a difference consists to use these topics with their related subconcepts for the relevance evaluation of document contents.
