Dear Mathint Students,

This note is on configuring *the old* Netscape for ghostview,
which I'll use a lot for Course material.

Opening the postscript reader, ghostview,
by just clicking on a "*.ps" URL
can be configured in your Netscape thus:

In the "Options" menu select "General Preferences..."

Foreground the "Helper" subwindow pane by a click

Scroll down the "MIME Configuration Files" table
and highlight the "applicationpostscript" row

Click the "Edit..." button

Select "Application" inside the "Handle By" subwindow:

Now type into the text field:
ghostview %s

Click OK on both subwindow panes.
