Research Interests

Short CV

I studied computer science and economics at the University of Kaiserslautern and received the Diplom in 1994. After having finished an evaluation of data mining techniques for credit assignment at DFKI GmbH (funded by Swiss Bank Corporation), I started working at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH) Kaiserslautern in February 1995. In the research department for Intelligent Engineering Systems I worked in the VEGA project investigating machine learning and theory revision approaches for the maintenance of knowledge-bases. Currently, I develop methods and tools for building organisational memories in the context of the DFKI Knowledge Management Group which is a part of the Information Management and Document Analysis Lab.
